Someone has convinced me to write in my blog again.
It's been years since I've consistently written. Despite the good reasons he gave, stubborn as i am, i had lots of reasons not to. BUT.....perhaps it's cuz of the reasons not to, that i've decided, I may give it a trial run. I'm not sure if anyone will read it. However, it can be an accountability, if not to others, to myself.
Red, yellow, orange...I love fall and seeing the trees changing colour. The temperature is ..just perfect. Good for a long sleeve, but no coat...and a breeze that blows in your face. Wind. = )
We've been learning about the colour red in the kindergarten class where I'm volunteering. Friday, it was "RED" day. All the kids wore red :) We made red hats too! Well not really 'hats' persay....but a band of red which they put on their head that they can decorate. They used stickers, bingo dabbers and put sequins on. I was calling kids over to make the hats. White glue can actually be messy!!! Cuz 4/5 year olds always put a lot of glue. I found this out the hard way. haha. While helping one kid with the white glue, i turned around and realized this other kid had smeared a big glob of white glue on his 'hat'. OH NO! ...haha...so quickly asked other kids to get glue off this one kid's hat. Thinking I had solved the problem, I hear "miss wu, Miss WU! she's got glue on her hair" like from 4 voices (though it sounded like 10). O_O. Because the kids put too much glue on, the sequins were sliding off and the glue dribbling onto their hair. Oh no. :P
Or other voices were saying "Miss Wu, this fell off my hat, can you glue it back on for me?"
haha. Crazy day. :) but I love it! Love those kids :)
Asking questions. We heard it in the sermon today...and well we talked about it in sunday school last week too. Upon reflection, I don't ask enough questions. Is it cuz I'm easily satisfied? or maybe i don't want to know? I admire ppl that aren't afraid to ask questions. I used to not like ppl asking me questions, cuz i never knew/had the answer to anything. Why aren't I motivated to know more? ...As a 12 year old, Jesus asked questions...and it says in the bible: "ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened" Children are naturally curious and naturally ask questions. How do I get that desire back?
