-learning to trust-

why i'm writing? not to complain...but for prayer and to remind myself & allow others to remind me that this was what I was learning on feb 10( & earlier)...and to prove the Lord faithful when He works in these parts of my life in the days to come. :)

my mind has been going a thousand miles per minute sometimes these days. God is teaching me to trust Him this year in so many different ways.

many things burdening my heart....

~next year~
next year is creeping up... i'm not worried surprisingly to myself..though i know it's in the corner of my mind. uncertainty.in 2 months, i don't know where i'll be or what i'll be doing. yet reminding myself that it is in God's hands which i believe is the best place to be. And I have more peace about it that I think would ever be possible from my own self.

~my 4th year project~
my 4th year project has been not-so-good. It's february ..and been 6 months and it's still pretty much in square 1... only one month left and i need results...i have nothing. But the Lord used Roger to remind me one thing. when Gideon fought the midianites, God reduced the army from many 1000s to 300 because He wanted them all to know it was His victory. That He did it. And read the story! The army only had to break their earthen vessels and let the light shine while the stood firm. And God did the rest. We only need to be broken and let Jesus shine through us. Stand on his rock. the cross. And He will win. Our God is able :) And as Roger talked about this seemingly unrelated thing..., my research came back. It seems impossible that this research could go anywhere...but the Lord is able. He brought me into Physiology by his grace and He IS faithful and will bring me through the best way possible.

~relationship~
1 Corithians 13 'love is patient. love is kind. it does not envy it does not boast.
it is not proud.it is not rude. it is not self seeking. it is not easily angered. it keeps no record of wrongs. love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes and always perseveres'

God's teaching me to love. Sometimes loving people hurts a lot. But I'm reminded real love from the Lord comes from Him. It begins when we're broken and allowing Jesus to live through us and is unconditional..not dependent on the other person, on how much they give back or don't give back. It always perseveres even when it hurts and breaks us.
