Wow, its nearly been a week since I last wrote, no wonder my parents started to get worried when I called home this week =) hehe...understandable now. Its hard to believe yet another week has passed. I have no idea where time goes. It just seems to fly by faster and faster. The last few days I've been waking up early....and many days with fear in my heart. This always seems to happen once in awhile...especially when I know a big change is about to occur and I'm anticipating it....or when I'm unsure about things...
o/~Lord I offer my life to you everything I've been through, use it for your glory. Lord I lift up my days to you, lifting my praise to you as a pleasing sacrifice, Lord I offer you my life.
Lord I'm so glad my life is given to you and you alone. I'm afraid. I know I have this feeling of fear of change. I know change can be good...but...I know...that part of me feels like I can't face it. So I'm so glad that God promised that we're never alone and knowing that he knows the future helps relieve me. These last few days or last week I should say, have been very reflective for me. I started realizing all the things and people that God has blessed me with. I knew when I first decided to come to Australia that I would have to leave the people behind when I headed back to Canada. But I never realized that I would miss those that I've been working with. Its been a blessing that God has blessed me with Anita, Ivan and Tiff. One morning, I woke up, with this realization that I prolly won't have a chance to serve God with them again. At least the 4 of us together. I know this may result one day but the likelyhood is slim. I realized just how amazing it was just that GOd was able to bring all 4 of us together to do the most wonderfulist thing..^_^ SERVE him! ...it has just been a great experience... I hope I haven't annoyed them...hehe...that much.. but yes...they've been great. I've began to see that ....we really need to treasure every moment as we never know when one like it will arise again.
I got to talk to my family yesterday...it was really great. I really miss talking to them...esp Jo =) maybe its just cuz...i don't always get to talk to her when I call home...or whatnot.. it brought a smile to my face when I heard all their voices...esp cuz they all sounded so happy :) But yah.....lotsa people, I wish I could see...that's the thing about being reflective...it also makes me realize how lucky I am to have so many around me...but thinking about it makes me miss them.
There's still so much I want to do, so much I want to get, so many people I want to get to know....before leaving Adelaide. My heart really goes out to those that I've been able to talk to. I really hope that they are seeing God's love for them in their daily lives. I really don't see what kind of difference I have made by coming here...but someone wise :) told me....that I should be more confident about what God can do. It is true. It is GOd who produces fruit and HIM who does the work. Who am I to underestimate what he can do through my weaknesses. For it is, when I am weak, that he is all the more strong. Praise him for that :) I once read, I only do as I can, its God who produces the fruit. So I will continue to trust him and make him my focus and trust (not doubt) that he will work what I may have thought to be impossible. To HIM be the Glory ^_^
